Teak would be sweet. Would jump at a cap-toe boot with brass eyelets.

The cotto cordovans are amazing! I bought them a few months ago and love the color.

Much thanks for the heads up, just picked up a pair of the cotto derbys!

Thanks everyone for the advice. Fit is actually perfect. Love these. The last makes them much more casual than anything else I have which is what I was looking for

When available in all sizes, I'll be ordering the same size as my Stow then! (hopefully the Selkirk will also be available )

It has come to pass. All sizes of Alfred Sargent Kelso and Selkirk now available at Tredders. But at a price (ouch!).

Those are MTO for Tredders, I asked if they could order a 6 (AS and M. Bogle from Tredders recommend to size down half size on the Selkirk) for me last month.

Glen Bogle (Tredders) kindly answered me that they were not able to add my UK size 6 to they current batch as they are too far along in the manufacturing stage.
This means that it could be a very long time before they are able to get my size 6 as it would need to be added to their next batch (possibly, summer 2017).

Because the Selkirk is made especially for us we cannot just ask them for a pair. We generally order one batch a year, and unfortunately we have already done so, which means we think it will be next year before you would receive them.
As for the price, not that crazy compared to the C&J Snowdon.

I hope it's ok to post this here in the Trickers thread - I think it may be of interest to some of the folks here:

Limited Opportunity to join current MTO for the iconic LINDRICK Boot.

This MTO is days away from going into production. There was a last minute pull out.  First come first serve.

Here are the specs:

Crockett and Jones

325 Last

Dark Brown Shell Cordovan (color may be darker than photo above, as there are variations in C&J's / Horween's brown shell)

Double Leather Sole

Storm Welt

Dark Antique Sole Edging

All Eyelets

Price: 583.36 GBP + 30 GBP for US shipping.  The total including shipping comes to approximately $800 with the current favorable exchange rate.  This is a bargain for a boot that would sell for $1000+ if it was being sold here in the USA.

Please PM me if you want to join.

Looking good! I absolutely love mine but they are still a touch snug. First time with the 2298 last for me. I've been trying to break them in and stretch them a tiny bit. I'm still hopeful but I will certainly order a half size larger next time.

I've already said this a while back, but Richard at Shoe Healer still has some some of the originals in stock in a number of sizes, he told me.

I ordered a 9UK a few months ago in the Kelso. Nice boot.

Cheers

I found amazing Tricker brogues in a charity shop a few years back. My size, too. They fucking got lost in a house move. This thread is making me sad.

I sold my first ever pair of Stows on eBay having messed up with the sizing. I wore them for a couple of years with extremely thick socks while saving up for a half size smaller. They went for £180.

It was only when I went to pull out my new boots some months later that I realised with horror that I had sent the new ones to the eBay winner and still had the original, worn, oversized boots in my possession.

This makes me very sad.
