Thank you. I am thinking about getting some brown edge dressing to darken the sole. Still on the fence.

Those are some beautiful shoes. If it were me, I'd leave the soles just as they are..

Those are gorgeous! Personally I love the contrast that is almost a trademark for Tricker's. I'd leave them to darken naturally with use.

Been eyeing the same ones.  Haven't had a chance to go down.  Love those.

Those soles are perfect the way they are.

Please don't use edge dressing. The light colour round the edges is one of the things that make Tricker's so incredible!

I really love your shoes and wish that I had a pair!  Yours, Munky.

Thank you all for your input. I will leave it as is.

Here's a pic from a different angle:

that purple touch. oh dang. the eyelets are the perfect size (not too big). shell resembles the yoda boot. curious to see what it looks like in person. and the contrast tonal stitching! now lets hope it fits wink.gif

I see that the Tricker's eBay site is listing a couple of pairs of the Roy boot that look like seconds from the recent MTO. Even though I'm not such a big fan of shell as many of you guys I have to say that it is a great looking boot.

Hi all, I didn't get any help in the heel/sole identification thread, so figured I'd try her, since my theory is Trickers. I have two pairs of Trickers with the same exact soles, but all my Trickers boots and shoes all have hand-written internal markings and this pair is printed. Anyone know if other makers use this sole or if Trickers at one point printed the inner markings?

Obviously some British maker produced them for "Fellman ltd" which I've never heard of but seems to have gone out of business long ago.
