I can't even return them so I'm getting by with super thick socks and sole inserts. Just my two cents in sizing experience in trickers. Excellent well made shoes, but recommend trying sizing in store.

^ I think you bought one of their offerings on the 4444 country last - most people size down 1.5 on that last (unless you have EE width feet), or wear thick socks when sizing down 1 from US to UK sizes

trying in store is always best, of course

It was these:

Not sure of the last, but Justin who handles last pair said 9.5 should be fine based on my 10 barrie size. I'm gonna get rid of them. They're almost unwearable akin to slippers.

Yeah, the 4444 is really huge. In a 4497 last, like the stow, you'd probably be fine. I wear barrie 9D, 4497 8.5UK. and 4444 8UK, and that's pretty normal from what I've heard on the forum...

Yeh. Should've read up before. Saw a last pair posting and jumped. Anyone have any ideas about the going rate for a used pair of trickers? Whats the best route - marketplace here or ebay?

Both. Good luck with the bay, though. Online garage sale. Tire-kicking shitbirds.

I've done a lot of buying and selling on EBAY…rarely have an issue. You just need to know your sizing well, examine the photos, and ask questions when in doubt. Also, seller ratings are good to look at and feedback. They generally go for $250-400 in good to like-new condition, depending on what it is. If I can get a boot I am looking for, in good condition, in the low-to-mid 300's, I am happy to pay that.

Sorry, I should've clarified I'm gonna try and get rid of the pair of keswick's I bought. Not sure if the marketplace is the best route or Ebay.

Sorry, I should have figured that out. My bad.

Well, you have close to a 9-10% fee from ebay. If you go through Paypal via the forum, it is a lot less 2-3%??

If you chose EBAY, make sure you get tracking and signature confirmation on the shipping. If they are in excellent condition, with little wear, you could probably ask in the low 300's, I would suspect. I basically just do boots, so I am not as familiar with the keswick.

good luck!
