Offical TRICKERS shoes and boots thread - Page 273

Additional confusion: I wear an 8UK in the 4497. I've tried both an 8 and a 7.5 in the 4444, and neither one fits.

I GIVE UP!

I have 4497 in a 7.5UK and it fits my 8.5D foot pretty well. Great length wise, but perhaps a little wide for my foot.

I find Tricker's are mostly too wide for my taste, and the chap who works in the factory shop is a bit of an abrasive bore on a first impression as well.

Saw these and fell in love...what are peoples thoughts?

This is the only decent size photo I could find!

I'm a US9D and wear a UK8½ Stow on the 4497. The size 8, while plenty roomy, is too short.

Bourtons on the 4444 are too big in size 8. Go figure.

I'm an 8.5FUK in Church's Double Monks and Carmina Simpson Last. 43 in Common Projects and Margeila GATs. US 9D in Red Wing 875s.

I ordered the Stow in 8UK but it's too short, swapping for an 8.5UK.

Can somebody tell me which shoe is this?

Is this a decent price? Is it True to size? I thought Tricker's fits big, but the description is saying this particular shoe fits small....

Those aren't the English made Tricker's you're thinking of. Note the orange lining and the label doesn't have the royal warrant feather logo.
I think the company is "Tricker's International". They're made in Italy.

In other words, the quality of "Tricker's Inernational" is not as good as "Tricker's" that we are accostom to?

hmm...I guess the deal isn't that hot over at Yoox then.

No idea about the quality of those. But just be aware they're not the ones from England.

If they happen to be made by the factory that also made Brunello Cuccinelli's "Tricker's influenced" boots, then yeah they are way lower quality. That was by far the worst supposedly high-end boot I've ever handled in person, and for over 1000 USD too!

Trickers made in Italy! Never come across this before!
Sad to see such a strong British heritage slip out of hands!

Yeah that is an interesting move, selling them under the same name and not making it clear its a different line...

Superdenim is now selling some tricker's at good discount (and some Nigel Cabourn stuff).
