If you think prices are getting crazy high, it's worse than you thought! I remember back in the good old days (2009) getting Trickers from the ebay shop for 125-150 GBP.

I have the color chart at home, it's called marron moyen which translates into medium brown also on valmour website.

MSAINT should be best advice regarding this matter.

Just wondered if anyone had noticed any nice black derby make-ups anywhere?

SuperDenim have a black cordovan model, but the welt is natural and I want all black - plus for that money I could get a one-off MTO.

There's always the standard Woodstock model, but special make-ups are usually a bit more interesting and tend to go in sale more often.

I just found this - http://www.doubleselect.com/2012/11/23/welcome-x-trickers-cordovan-aw12/ - which is great looking, but alas I'm way too late.

Was tempted to take both and see which fit better, but I'm pretty sure the 11 would be too big. That's assuming they are 4497 - the last doesn't seem to be listed anywhere.

might be worth it but almost certainly too big. if youre in europe might be worth the gamble. if in the states, return shipping is about $60
