G&G = Gaziano & Girling
JLP = John Lobb Paris

The Tricker's Minster seems to be a shoe version of the Eaton boot.

Tricker's and AS make great country boots from my experience.

And Cheaney have made some great country boots and shoes - they've been producing extremely solid veldtschoens for decades and their Pennine boot is well worth a look.

The AS Dumfries is a boot that rivals the Malton, just a shame that they recently upped the price on it so significantly as it, along with the Selkirk/Kelso, was the sturdiest country boot you could buy for the money...

Thanks, and yes it does. I e-mailed Richard about them, they are out of my size.

Does anyone here know how to care for burnished leather? Do you use conditioner? Polish?

Pretty much exactly the same as other calf only don't go for a high shine.

Ok, I heard that conditioner does not soak in so it is pretty much useless.

Thanks, dsmivtr!

I was looking at those laces online for the same purpose but did not have a chance to see them in store. What color laces would you guys go with on some C Shade Maltons?

There's a tan one I think that should look well with C-shade without being too ostentatious

Semi brogue offering from Tomorrowland, basically a Stow and Longwing without the medallion.

There's also a mid cut version?!
