A little Tricker's porn to take us into the weekend...the Eaton, and a veldtschoen model of both boot and tramping shoe:

Not sure what last was used for the veldtschoen boot as it's slimmer than the Eaton (made on the 4497S), unless it was made in a 4 fitting. no markings inside, unfortunately, and also no lining - a pretty rough-and-ready old school Tricker's model. Fantastically comfortable to wear, though:

Curious what people think of these. I find the huge crepe soles bizarre. But maybe I'm just behind the times?

hey guys,

i just received a pair of trickers stow brogue boots in black on the 4497 last in a UK10, the toe box is a bit cramped for me, so if anyone is interested in them before i send them back, pm me, boots are brand new!

yes now i do, as i was explained was that 4497 is in between 2298 and 4444.... boy was i wrong...
