yea, Goarse "C" Shade. unlike the Stow, Maltons are slim-pickin'. it's either C or Maroon [w/c is hard to come by in commandos]. MTO route wud be the only option to other/Stow colors.

I wear a size 9US in my Alden Indy's, would I be ok with getting a size 8UK in those boots?

^ Unless your feet are wide, I'd be very careful with the fitting 6 (Tricker's nomenclature for wide).
To me, even the fitting 5 (medium) is pretty wide.

I think an 8UK is about right for a 9US Indy wearer with the width caveat.

BTW, those Maltons are awesome.

Malton and stow have the same last, but just like you said the color offerings are limited and malton comes in a 6 width option. My green brogued boots I'm selling are on the malton and I'm about a 10.5-11us and I'm a 9.5uk in this last.

as for sizing, i don't want to give any bad advise. however, i can tell how i sized mine, compared to the Alden Black Indy & White's SJs. to start with, i chose Malton cuz i got wider in-step. Stow is a no go... 'personally i tried both on @Jermyn Tricker's Store.

anyway, i stuck with the Indy sizing strategy... use thin socks+insoles in the summer & thicker socks [w/o insoles] in the colder seasons.

Malton UK 8 [w/6 fitting] = Alden Indy US 8.5E :: White's Smoke Jumper = US 8.5EE since i will be wearing them only with thicker socks. i got a Dayton Driver's coming momentarily w/c are also 8.5EE.

Need some help in sizing here guys

Here is my sizing

Alden 10
Vans 10.5
Red Wing 10
Clarks 9.5-10
Nike 11
Visvim 11

US sizing, plan on buying some Trickers from Bureau Belfast within the next month or two but dont know what size to get in UK sizing.

What to be able to have it fit snug with a thicker sock but be able to go sockless or very thin sock in the spring/summer. Shooting for a Brogue.

^ depending on the last, size 9 or 9.5 UK. I fit a 9.5 Clark's Desert Boot and am a 8.5 in a 4444 last (fitting 6) or a 9 in the 4497 last.
