This works for me, even with boat shoes. Trees go in immediately after each wear.

I currently have mine in the freezer and I will let you know how well that works tomorrow. Have any other methods worked for anyone? If so please let me know as this smell has kept me away from wearing them for a while now. Does anyone know if the same problem occurs with Seabagos, I think I read somewhere that the ones you have are sperrys .

Okay took me a while to get back on but here I am, I tried the freezer method and it worked for a day I would say, and it did not kill the smell completely just decreased it significantly. Im going to buy some Sebagos and see how they are.

for the future, wear loafer socks. I've also heard shoe trees help with reducing the odor

seriously though, do you wash your feet? If you are not getting your feet clean every day, obviously this will spread your stink immediately to any shoe.

secondly, rotate shoes. Let your stinky ass shoes dry out from your stinkladen malodorous bacterial wonderland feet for a day.

Hope those sperrys don't show up on B&S

Proper rotation is key here. It's tempting to just slip on the same old pair of deck shoes every day, or several days in a row. Doing so is basically asking for shoe stink to develop, especially if it's hot outside.

If you really must wear deck shoes or loafers every day, at least own enough pairs so that you're only wearing a given pair once every other day. (And stick trees in them when taken off).

yes it is lol, I decided to get the socks from j.crew and I hope that helps. Im buying two new pairs of boat shoes and I don't want to risk it with these, being that im a college student and 90 dollars a A LOT in my book lol.

One day one say I shall own ever color boat shoe in the world, as I sit my ass on my boat, that I have purchased by sending the damn criminals to jail.

Toss in some scented (or unscented) baking soda. Dump it out after a few hours.

A few days ago I put my old sneakers, which smelled pretty bad, in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer for 24 hours. When I took them out I sniffed them and couldn't smell anything, but then after I wore them they reeked again (even though I washed my feet and put on fresh socks first). So I don't think the freezer works.

Dude, you do know how much prosecutors make, right? If you want to make serious money, you need to do criminal defense, not work for the government.

Oh, and to stay on topic, cedar shoe trees are the way to go.
