It's rare for women to date shorter men. (Probably not surprising to most readers.) Also, to address someone else's claim, it was in the news recently that men are more likely to cheat when the woman is the higher earner. Explanations were offered, but one that wasn't is that higher-earning women probably tend to be more superficial and therefore might be picking bad boys.

having her earn around the same money as I do means I can't offer her money to ******** with me anymore.

Depends on whether her friends/colleagues are total tossers.

I'm an auditor, so I make decent money, and am used to making more than the girls I date. However, the girl I am currently dating is a lawyer, makes more money than me, and it's actually a pretty big turn on.

I didn't realize how great it was to date someone who was financially ambitious until I actually did it. Probably couldn't go back to dating a girl who made significantly less than me at this point. It's great to be in your mid 20s and, as a couple, easily take in over 6 figures.

Pretty similar here. Combined I think we make the old "fallback" SF salary.

We haven't talked hard numbers but I think she takes home close to 50% more than I do.

Although it has never mattered to me (doesn't matter at all now, since I am married), however I have dated those that earn a significant amount more, and those that earn less. As long as neither is too concerned, it wouldn't ever be a problem.

Just make sure your motivation is actually her, not the money else you would risk being labelled a free loader. As long as this is not the case, go for it!

I wouldn't really care, but it sounds awesome. Why not? In fact, I think it would be awesome to marry a woman who is independently wealthy and wealthy enough so I don't have to work either. Just think how much free time you'd have... That won't happen in a hurry, though

She was pretty
She was smart
she was witty
Yeah she had charm
Cupid shot me
that's what got me down the aisle
But that match made in heaven
Went straight to hell
Split up our possessions
Put the house up for sale
And I learned a lesson I won't be forgetting
The next time around

I'm gonna marry for money
I'll be so damn rich it ain't funny
I'm gonna have me a trust fund, yacht club, hot tub piece of the pie
Find me a sweet sugar mama
With a whole lot of zeros and commas
Don't really care if she loves me
She can even be ugly
I'm gonna marry for money

I won't have to love her family
I won't have to like her friends
and if it works out like I planned it,
I won't ever have to work again

Repeat Chorus

Solo

Y'all I'm gonna fly to Hawaii
On a Lear Jet the old lady buys me
I'll call her sweet heart & honey if she's a hundred and twenty
I'm gonna marry for money...
I dont care if she loves me
She can be really ugly
I'm gonna marry for money

Oh, cha-ching mucho deniro

I don't think this would bother me (although I've never done it).... however, I would hesitate to date anyone who worked more hours than I do.

You must not know much about SF. The only women in the world who make more money than the big-timers on SF are Christy and Alice Walton.

It goes without saying that both rate -1,000 on the SF looks scale, and are also obviously outside the max date-able age of 24.

Therefore, your question is moot.
