MacBook Pro 15inch

Im selling my MacBook Pro 15inch 2.8ghz (Upgraded). The computer has a unibody case and is 1 year old. I paid around 2,200$ for it. The computer is in 100% perfect working condition and is very fast. The body has a few cosmetic scratches but nothing major at all. The screen is perfect and the battery is in 100% running condition. My only reason for selling is because I don't have use for a laptop anymore after I purchased an Ipad and IMac 27inch. I am looking to get around $1600.00 (Paypal Gift) I will be up loading pics within the next 15 minutes. Feel free to message me with offers. I also have the apple protection plan that is good for I believe 2 more years. Thanks Edit: 500 GB HD

this is an outrageous price considering that u can get this in a newer model with a free ipod after rebate (ends today) and student discount prices for the same price with better gpu and cpu.

I am open to offers as I have stated in my listing. I recently saw the same exact computer sell on ebay for 1545$. The newer version of this computer is not as powerful and the starting price for 15 inch macbook pro is 1799$. This is the top of the line version from 1 year ago.

I'm really not trying to derail your sale here, but this just isn't true. The cheapest 15 inch core i5 is faster than the 2.8ghz from last year. Check the benchmarks on Macworld..

(I sold my model from last year for a new one this year.)

well let me put it this way, $1799 - $100 for student discount - $160 for selling the itouch on ebay. there u go, u have a newer updated gpu, cpu, and battery life for aprox $1530 + tax depending on whatever state. however ur upgrading and receiving a brand new one with 1 year apple care. to think that u would even try to get ur asking price is ridic.

Generally if you list an item for a ridiculous price here you will get flak. If you list it for a ridiculous price on eBay you will probably eat listing fees, but from time to time some idiot will come along and make your day because there's no threadshitting on eBay. Pick your poison.

true...whats a reasonable price to sell the computer because the only reason I listed it as 1600 is because of what I saw sell. I obviously do not fully understand the specs and all.

you'll get more serious offers around $1300.
