my ladyfriend gets gifts for my workers every time she goes to Japan; last time (last week or something) she brought back whale jerky, and whale curry.

Nice. How do you end up going to that, connections?

The idea of oxodized avocado and out of season watermelon is so thoroughly revolting to me... that photo literally makes me want to vomit.

I once went to a Garden Party, to reminisce with my old friends...

Still a fan of that photo and the "cake" being on a bunch of napkins, not even a plate.

I like the knife in there too. Makes it more enticing, like I just can't wait for that knife to come down so I can greedily snatch the first "slice."

It was on a paper plate at first but the cake ate through it so it had to be transferred. I'm working on another garden party cake that will be autumn themed (will include pumpkin). This one should be better because I have more prep time, I'll post pics if anyone wants to see the finished product.

I provided a 100% vegan raw garden cake.

Recipe: Watermelon cut into square. Glazed with a whipped avocado icing. Sliced pears for a tangy crust. Topped with 100% organic raw pumpkin seeds. Chilled for 2 hours.

Everyone loved the cake but it looks a little dismantled. I was late in making it and the avocado wasn't ripe so it couldn't be whipped. I didn't have enough time to chill it so I put it in a cooler with ice and it kind of fell apart from there.

What is that sad brown potato slice next to your cake?
