I have also recently purchased a pair of cordovan shoes from Alden. I sent them back due to pin holes and other quality issues. The new pair doesn't have any issues. This did make me question the brands quality and I will always thoroughly check the shoes before leaving the store. That being said my next pair of shoes will more than likely be Allen Edmund's.
