Inexpensive gifts for the lady

Thread Starter
What are some of the inexpensive gifts (<$100) to buy for your significant other/girl friend?

-Colorful socks?
-Flowers?
-Take her out for a message?
-Lingerie?
-Send her a note saying how beautiful she is

Need more ideas.

Chocolate. Women love chocolate. I would also like to think that if you're giving her chocolate, she's less likely to ask you if she looks fat. If only...

That's a unique way of thinking about it, I guess.... mine usually talks about enough things that are purchasable that I can find something. I don't gift large because she can get most of what she might want on her own with her own money, and I don't want to start a gifting competition or anything either. I've bought her several nice pairs of shoes, but beyond that, it's all been small stuff. I got her some vintage cookware, I collected some good wine glasses, I fix the broken stuff around the house, I might make her a leather jacket this fall from my own pattern/sewing, I bring home a good bottle of wine (which is all expensive here, 100 bones doesn't exactly buy you Latour) and then cook her something nice for dinner, there's tons of small stuff you can do. I once got her a Michael Jackson figurine cell phone fob, and a Ferrari Enzo scale model. She likes weird stuff, but that is fine by me.

ok 80's guy. Nowadays, we say 'give her the D, BRO' or 'the cack' and that is usually descriptive enough.

granted your girlfriend is the sensitive type, sheri's berries are nice. they're fat strawberries dipped in chocolate that's assembled by by the mentally impaired. it's a very decorative package and the strawberries are really good (they come at about 20-40 bucks depending on what you get).

You don't think a guy asking what to give his GF with colored socks listed as an option needs more description? If anything, he might need something MORE descriptive, like give her the gift of the butt sex.

You guys are such db's. Really, OP, you have to get something that is meaningful to her. She's a person, not a woman like all the other women. They don't all think alike, you know. What matters is that it is something she likes, if you just get a gift that's a stereotypical 'gift for a girl,' really what's the point? I have to say I am finding myself agreeing with impolyte here (again! what's happening!) ~ H

Gift Certificate to a Spa for a massage or Facial. Women also appreciate Nail Salon visits so a Gift Certificate from a nail salon placed in a beautiful card with some choice poetic words from you can
open all types of doors for you :-) Think of what she admires or ask a friend or family member of
hers for advice in secret of course.

+100. I've gotten far more with "it's not particularly fancy. But I saw it and it really made me think of you, so I wanted to get it for you" than massive sapphire tennis bracelets and shit in the past.
