That makes no sense. :-/ I can see you drinking a brandy alexander, LK. What's your drink of choice? I like mimosas quite a bit and I'm not what one would call effeminate. That crisp and refreshing taste is really nice after a night of whiskey and beer. My fairly simple recipe for mix-based bloody mary is: Vodka, Zing Zang's mix, black pepper to taste, 5 dashes of Worcestershire, a couple of shakes of garlic salt, and about a teaspoon of olive juice and whatever garnish won't make you throw up if you've been drinking all night.
I do like Brandy Alexanders but in limited quantities. I tend to prefer gin-based drinks or something with Rye such as a Sazerac. And of course, champagne.

Christ, you're a pussy.

I am not above finishing off skunked half full bohs the morning after just to make cleanup easier.

Haven't done that since college, when you'd go for it and end up with a beer-logged cigarette butt in your mouth, and you'd just chew on it a bit before realizing what it was, and spit it out.

I have a long morning flight soon. I like alcohol when I have absolutely nothing to do, but the dry bottled air makes it unpleasant.

LK, if you like Brandy Alexanders, but tend to prefer gin, you really must have an Alexander (the original, made alike, but with gin instead). So much better. ~ H

Kriek, its a beer based on cherry made in belgium. We used to say that the mild sweetness of of it would trick the senses to think it was just some kind of soda, but with just the right amount of alcohol to postpone the hangoverheadache.. A variant is "la duchesse de bourgogne".

If its cold out a good walk finished by a glass of port can do the trick for me as well..
