Nice Collective FW 2010? - Page 3

Also in the early 2000's with Cloak around and actually occupying a similar price point (at first) it seems silly for anyone to have gone with NiCo over Cloak, which does just about all those things better.

Cloak was never as accessible, and it was always more expensive than Nice Collective, if you compare prices from the same seasons.

Also, the only time when Cloak might have been in competition with Nice Collective would have been in about 2003, and they did not have Nice Collective's exposure or production capacity at that time. When Cloak first started, it actually had a more tailored, nearly nerd chic, look, and starting about SS 2004, it became much more tailored and also, much more into conceptual pieces.

NiCo has always made really good outerwear, it's the other stuff that's hit and miss.

I agree. The the outerwear from A/W 2008, New Romantics was particularly strong. The boots, while not everyone's style, are seriously underrated here on SF.
