Just received a really nice fall jacket. Superb in every word except the storm flap is made of fraggin Velcro. VELCRO!!!!
And I hate Velcro. It looks cheap, feels cheap; it is cheap. Ruins an otherwise good jacket.
I'm going to bring it to my tailor to see if she can rip off the velcro and replace it with buttons (and buttonholes).
Has anyone done this before? My tailor is good, but I don't think this is a common procedure.
