Cheers,

Fok.

I'd be interested depending on the model that everyone is considering. I have a specific MTO in mind for next winter (though maybe that's because it hasn't been above 25 where I am for the last week!).

I would be interested.

Considering that Rancourt seems to be able to turn out MTO products relatively quickly, I suggest something that would get a lot of wear for the spring and/or summer.

I agree. I was planning on ordering something to have for this spring/summer. Anyone have any models in mind? I, personally, was going to order a ranger moc. But I'm open.

Interested.

I'll raise this question though: What's the advantage of an SF MTO from our perspective?

Would we be talking about something like a custom color of leather? A custom design element?

I guess we could get them to lower or waive the MTO charge, which would be nice.

But I'm wondering what the motivation is for trying to get everyone to agree on a makeup or two when it's pretty easy to get almost anything you want from Rancourt in short order anyway.

NB, I'm not trying to throw cold water on this. Just figure there might be something more to this and would like to hear more.

^^ I agree with FC.

Maybe Rancourt can help me realize my dream of pebble grain shell cordovan.... *sigh*

No idea what Fok will be able to offer. But when I talked to Kyle about a SF group navy shell captoe boot he was will to be 10% off. So there certainly could be an incentive.

Hi, could anyoune help me with sizing? I want to buy a pair of theese chukka horwen http://gentrynyc.com/collections/all-footwear/products/eastland-jefferson-dark-brown

I want to wear them with normal and thick socks in winter

Should I go TTS?

Thanks

There would be almost no advantage to a group order. It's easy to go through a known Rancourt retailer to get the custom makeup fee waived.

I'm sure I have a Pretty Damn Good idea who you're talking about, but I didn't know you could get the order waived through them. Will remember that going forward, for sure. Can they even get it waived for shell?

Send me a PM if you're unclear, but from what I know, I have been told I can get the fee waived regardless of the makeup.

I wouldn't be able to wear that style with thick socks in my TTS. I think I'd have to go up half a size (since a wider width isn't available).

But I think I may be a little bit of an outlier. See what others say.

FC I think you are a bit of an outlier. Rancourt's shoes typically fit a half size large, but with thick socks you will want to stay TTS.

Maaan that bison leather is super sick. Was thinking about ordering a pair of ranger mocs anyways, anyone know if they could do a pair of ranger mocs with leather like that?
