Unfortunately I don't reside within the US thus the made to fit route won't work for me.

Are you trying to compare with the AE 511 (which is the 1 last) or the AE 65 (which is the 5 last). You mentioned AE 5 but referenced 511. If it is the 511, I think it would be same size. I am a 8.5c in the 511 and ordered a Blake in 8.5 d because they didn't have a c. The length and width is actually ok. My issue is the overall girth. The Blake does have some volume in the forefoot being a D. Rancourt is sending me a sockliner to compensate. For reference I'm a C in brannock which is my size int the AE 511.

Thanks for the info. Sorry, my question does read confusing.

I was asking the OP how the fit of the blake wingtip compared with his Leeds (511 / 1 last) as that was the side by side photo he posted. Additionally I wanted to ask the OP how the blake wingtip would compare to an AE 5 lasted shoe, in case he has a 5 lasted shoe.

Nonetheless, thanks for the information shared. Based on the 3 replies Ive received from this thread, looks like an 8.5D would be the closest fit to an AE 5 lasted 8.5D shoe as well.

Will give you my thoughts on bulldog leather in the am...

115 last for both.

Danforth: suede, with Tempest sole

Blake: calf, with leather sole

Of course if you go MTO it would just be under "Blake wingtip" in the customization tool. Can't wait till my snuff Danforths arrive!

Does anybody have experience with the plain toe chukkas? I'm trying to find out what size to buy and I measure an 8.5 D on the brannock device.

8.5 will work for you. I measure 8.5 as well and take an 8 in Rancourt loafers and ranger mocs. I recently tried on the Blake chukkas in an 8.5 and they fit great

I measure 11D in Rancourt handsewns and went 11.5D for Blake boots. So I second rydenfan.

Danforth available in the Dark Olive smooth leather.  Must just be the sole.

No experience with the Chukkas, but my Blake boots are the same size as my loafers. Then again, my loafers have stretched a little bit and if I was wearing them sockless I would have gone down to 8.5 instead of 9.

8.5D should be fine on the chukkas. Lined vs. unlined might dictate the socks you wear, though.

Thanks for the advice gents. Does anyone have fit pictures of their plain toe chukkas? Do they look better in person?
My only concern is that in pictures, the toe looks bulbous  and resembles Clark's desert boots.

They are part of the ready made collection. Buy them and see what you think; if you don't like them then you are out $25

There are some photos of the Blake boot in this thread, which is the same shape as the chukka. My opinion is that it is a round, more workboot style toe. I wouldn't call it bulbous. It's casual.
