Thanks. I agree.  They actually look much better in person.  I am very pleased.  A cool alternative to the Alden wingtip.

What are your first impressions of the Blake wingtip style?

Yes, Green Shell.  I really like it.  I think they did a really nice job.  The medallion on the toe is nice and the broguing came out really well.

Plus the deer skin lining is really soft.

The styling looks very sleek and streamlined. Of course they are green shell!! Who do you think you are talking to here?  :rotflmao:

Absolutely. I might even be more intrigued to hear about how they wear in CXL...

And the boot version of the wingtip looks like it is going to be great.

I would've ordered them in the boot version if it was available.... those look awesome.

Now that I know how they came out I would've ordered another pair in another color with that 20% discount!

I think the toe is a little more almond shaped and taller than barrie.

They look terrific.

The comparison pictures make the shell edges look unfinished. How does this look in person?

Thanks,

I know what you mean and the shell edges look good but kind of funky in person.  I think it looks cool.  Very different from any other shell wingtips I have.

Those look great! My beefrolls ship today, should have them tomorrow. Super excited now! Did you contact them ahead of time to tell them to keep off the box stitch? Those look so great without it.
