RANCOURT & Co. Shoes - Made in Maine - Page 143

Haven't tried that...but unless it says that they can't be combined I don't see why not...

I guess unless you needed to try more than 2 sizes there would really be no point.

I was wondering the same thing. I emailed their customer service to find out. I'll post here when I hear back.

I've done this with two sets of MTF shoes ordered at the same time; they gave me a single $50 gift certificate and charged me an additional $10 for the second set of shoes' shipping and handling.

That's basically what they told me, except it's $14 now.

"Thanks for contacting us. If you’d like to participate in the Made to Fit again you can do that, we just ask that you pay the additional shipping charges. We only issue one $50 gift certificate per customer. The shipping would be $14."

I definitely thought that was navy. Looking forward to some more pics as I'm thinking about the shell ranger-mocs in espresso.

Speaking of shipping, looks like Rancourt is now offering free shipping on any order over $99. Of course, as far as I can tell, they just raised all their prices by between $10 and $13. I suppose such things only get noticed and/or matter places like this.

Got a package from our friends in Lewiston today. Will post some photos a little later.

Rancourt commented on this on Reddit yesterday: link

"We raised the price due to a new wholesale arrangement where small retailers can order directly from our website using a wholesale login. Our retail prices had to match theirs. We also implemented free domestic ground shipping on all orders over $99 to balance the price increase. Essentially, the camp-mocs are the exact same price if you select domestic ground shipping, and some of our shoes are less expensive than in the past with the free shipping"

I suppose that's fair enough. I can't say that fully understand the need for the prices to match, but then I'm not familiar with wholesale/retail economics. That statement must make some amount of sense for Rancourt to make it publicly. On the other hand, I'd say that if I now order two pairs of shoes from them, I'm paying shipping twice in a way. Oh well, it's $12 at the end of the day. And how likely am I to order half a dozen pairs all at once? No reason to get my shorts in too much of a bunch.smile.gif
