Given the never ending snow in New England they have not gotten much use yet. I was able to wear them a bit last weekend to start breaking them in. They were a bit tight across the vamp initially but are breaking in quite quickly. I expect them to get a ton of use over the next few months.

Wow thanks! Those are beauties. I love the espresso. I will have a hard time choosing between the #8 and the espresso. I like #8 a lot, but I don't want to end up with multiple pairs of the same color shoe, either. When I buy shell shoes I like to get the most versatile color possible so I don't "have to" buy multiple pairs. Although with what I will most likely wear the camp mocs with I think the espresso would do well.

You will inevitably end up buying multiple pairs.

I absolutely have to buy multiple pairs of shell shoes. It's the only way really. 😝

Ya, tifosi.  You should probably just forget about those shoes and never come back to this website.

Stay and it will probably cost you at least $5,000 a year, if not far more.

I have the same problem. I have a pair of 8.5D from Rancourt and they were good until the stretched a bit. Now I can't wear them sockless. Ordering another pair in the next day or so and I'm going 8D. I did the made to fit program they offer and the 8D felt much better. I recommend the made to fit program.

Already expressed earlier in this thread, but I have the 8.5D Rancourt Venetians sold at BB and they also stretched to the point where the fit is no longer great (too loose), but wearable. Not sure if I could go down to the 8D though. I am typically a 9D also.

Just wanted to stop by and tell everyone I really love my snuff suede Ranger Mocs.
I have had them for almost a year now and used as my beater pair they have been exposed to a lot of abuse.
Playing football with a muddy ball, soaked from salty snow slush as well as people in clubs stepping on my feet, spilling their drinks or dropping their cigarets on them.
The Mocs have held up great.
Whenever they are really dirty I just brush them under running water, gently dab away some of the moisture with a towel, stuff them with some newspaper and let them air dry for a day or two.
They came out from that treatmeant looking fantastic every single time.
I feel there is no need to care for them other than putting shoe trees in them whenever you put them off.
Highly recommended!
