Yes, I went with the honey RLH. They feel a bit firmer than the crepe soles on the suede chukkas, but still pretty cushy.

Your rangers look great! Really ike the Navy / RLH combo. Do tell us more about the soles as you break them in.

Dropped my phone and accidentally took an action pic of my new wheat cavalier ranger mocs with a brick sole (custom). Wanted a new go to shoe for this summer, that was fairly different. I know they're not for everyone but I dig em. Comfy as hell too.

Also Kyle is pretty friggin great.

These look great! And nice action shot. The red and cavalier are probably very eye catching. Try to take some non phone drop pics, please.

You are getting these loafers in CXL, right? My bet is that you are going to be very happy with this sizing.

Yeah, Olive CXL venetian loafer + natural welt + red camp sole... Kyle hasn't confirmed production time but I'm hoping for 2 weeks.

Yes, I like the color. But as far as the chukka goes I'm not sure if I will get the moc toe again - I was told that within a few weeks they were going to offer the chukka in a round toe - I may wait.

Oh--that is some interesting info. Agree that the plain toe chukkas are pretty attractive.

Anyone know about the construction process for these? Is it the same as all the other Rancourts, but without handsewn moc toe?

It appears that they weren't. Photo is from Rancourt twitter feed / FB page, accompanied by the following message: "you have to know somebody to get a pair of these". I guess they were a prototype, trial run for somebody connected with Rancourt.

Well that is what I'm waiting for -maybe! I bet they would look great in the burnished tan. Or maybe that chili pebble grain I saw on their site.
