Great link - thanks! Get yours in... ebay ? Thats a 34?! Looks very slightly big on you... if only it was a 36 !! Some of the lanvin H&M stuff is utter crap, the tux blazers are not lanvin quality by any means but they are better then the H&M stuff.

I wouldn't say junk. I have a Lanvin jacket I purchased in Vegas recently and I was comparing the quality today (I bought the grey sweatpants and the white jacket from the collab just because the prices were so ridiculously cheap) between the two and while yes, the H&M is alot different in terms of quality of material/construction, it's really not all the bad, in fact if the real Lanvin was a 10/10 I'd give it a solid 7/10, especially given the price I paid. The cut is pretty decent too. I think it looks great on the two guys that posted pics (though it is a bit big on canstyleace, a size down and it would look smashing.) I also have a brown pair of chiffon/silk Lanvin sweatpants so totally different material from the merino wool so I can't compare as well but wow the Lanvin/H&M sweatpants are nice. If it had some slightly better detailing (i.e grosgrain waistband etc.) and a mainline label sewn in, it could have fooled alot of people, really fantastic material. The collection as a whole though was really all hit or miss. When I was looking at the long double breasted coat I couldn't believe how poor the quality was, now that was garbage imo.

canstyleace I think it looks good on you. What trousers are you wearing with the jacket? I bought the same jacket in 36R (that was the smallest option in the UK), need some trousers to go with it.

I had my friend in Germany order it for me, so it'll probably get to me in like 2 weeks
what specifics about the long coat did you think were trash? I didn't like how the buttons were loosely sewn on...
I'm assuming those are the matching navy wool trousers from the collab. I think they were like $60?

Agreed^, I have regular lanvin(blazer and sweater) and my wife has a lot more(shitload of flats mainly), the quality of the collab jacket is certainly less than regular lanvin but its far from crap or even mediocre, its pretty nice actually and far better than the crappy black label sc's you normally find at h&m, and the sweats are probably better, no itching at all and actually feels super soft and warm against bare skin, this is probably the best material used in the entire collab imho.

No offense to the haters but unless you have both items side by side, the hate is unfounded, now having said that there was also a lot of crap in the collab mainly the trench, hoodies, shoes and some other items that were just mediocre at most, and in the end I will probably be returning everything I got since nothing really fits or is that outstanding to me.


I'm wearing the matching collab navy wool trousers, I was able to get both matching slacks and jackets aside from the sweats and karate pants.

lol, it was actually the buttons that shocked me first, second the wool/poly blend (not that I was expecting more, but still), and overall it just had an air of "cheapness" that some other pieces did not.


In reference to what I bolded, seriously some people need to get over themselves. Acting like a know it all when you haven't even compared the garments side by side is just the height of snobbery imo. Anyways, yea I own several pairs of their sneakers and one dress shoe from seasons back myself and the quality compared to the collab shoe was atrocious , I agree with you on all fronts. Only about 25% of the collection was decent/good in my books and it was precisely those items which I bought (mainly the jogging pants, drawstring pants, grosgrain blazer/pant and the two tux jackets), probably the only time I'll ever purchase anything from them, the quality of this collection was far and above almost anything they usually produce.

Hey guys, I ordered the black/blue tuxedo blazer. I heard the fit is on the small side. I decided to size up from my regular blazer size 38R/48 (european) to size 40R/50(european) can anybody who has the blazer tell me if they needed to size up from their regular size? And oh how's the trenchcoat? can anyone tell me a little about it. I'm kinda on the fence about it not sure if i should keep it in my order Thanks!

btw to anyone who lives in a country where h&m has an online shop, are there a lot of pieces left on the webshop? where i live there's still a lot of the men's line left, i think only the sunglasses/trenchcoat/shoes are sold out

The grosgrain and multi check blazers run slim, the rest are tts imo.

H&M:s Norwegian online shop has pretty much everything from the collab in stock, including the sweatpants in charcoal and brown, the white dinner jacket in every size but 38, and so on and so forth.

I would consider it if I were in Norway, but as it stands, I would have to proxy it myself from friends in Oslo, and I don't feel like it's worth the hassle. I guess you could try sending out PMs to some Norwegian SF members ...
