BTW still after the blue tux jacket in 36 without the ridiculous ebay prices if anyone snagged one... can get you one in 40 if you want and do a straight swap

or am I wasting my time ?
i like it!! i saw this on gq's site around the same time Lanvin x H&M was announced...very similar to the original Lanvin.

as Kanye says, "(8. Lanvin Seersucker Dinner Jacket)
"I could wear it in Hawaii with a T-shirt, I could wear it in New York with a dress shirt. It embodies everything I like to be and do in fashion, riding the line between luxury and casual. It speaks volumes."

can't wait to get mine in!!

speaking of chandeliers, i was perusing around Lanvin's site last night and saw this:

$420 for a cotton tee is outrageous!!

In Canada they retailed for 70 and I think 60 in the US, they're 100% merino wool, they're really soft to the touch though and warm too, pretty nice really and not bad for the price, my only dismay is that they're too tapered, although I'm still considering keeping mine as long-johns for the winter

I have the navy tux jacket and I also have 1 of the 2 other shorter navy wool blazer, imho they fit pretty much the same aside from the tux jacket being almost 2" longer in the body and shoulders are just slightly wider vs short navy wool blazer.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

It's too big. The dents in the shoulder are the easiest give away. Return or sell. What size are they if I may ask and what size do you normally take?
It's a 34R and I normally wear a 34/36, it feels good in the shoulders but it does have pads, I think the dents are more from the chest area which is a bit roomy and is also how the regular h&m 34R fits me and I never like the fit, but since this one has a low buttoning point I kinda felt that it didnt show as much as a regular SC, but I guess it does, it's funny 'cuz the wife approved the suit and that kinda confirmed it for me that fit was ok, guess I'll return.

Actually in the first pic it looked like the arms were about 20cm too long, it was all bunchy, shoulders looked a bit wide as well.
^Yeah I think the odd pose in the first pic (extending arm w/camera to head level) exaggerated the off-ness because theres no way the sleeves are that long, if anything its the chest area thats too roomy, thanks for the fb though.

and i would not be a single bit jealous knowing they are atleast 10x the price of the collab blazers
post #419 of 498
i don't mean to be rude but the guys with the blazers, do they look cheap to anybody else? like if i saw a guy walking down the street with one on, there would not be any doubt in my mind that it is a cheap blazer no matter how many times the guys says its lanvin its lanvin
