I'll try the blazer with a regular shirt and dress shoes, then post and you will tell if it's better. But obviously, I can't dress like that every day. What other than blazer could I wear with jeans, tshirt and sneakers/plimsolls? Maybe some kind of jacket?

I think this is the problem. Figure out your own style. You're just putting clothes together without a plan. Just hang around here and observe the forum for a bit. If you're asking if you can wear a jacket with a t-shirt, you've got a ways to go!

Ok, guys. I tried another style today and got some compliments, but I'm not sure if it's good enough for style forum. You be the judge:
I changed the blazer to a more elegant one and wore dress shoes with black jeans that pass as dress pants. They are pretty slim The t-shirt is from my first pic:

How is it? Mind you, the shirt is untucked by default, I'm just trying to show the belt in the picture, too.

Answering the question regarding style, I understood what kind of styles I want to emulate more or less. I added the pics below. I also like how Uncontrol dresses, but obviously my frame is much larger and height as well, so I would need to adjust accordingly. Also, this is casual style only.

Also, the guys who said my black blazer was too large - I checked, it fits perfectly, especially in shoulders. It might seem large because I have very broad shoulders and a narrow waistline, I'm not sure there is anything that can be done about it. If you see me on street, you can see that it fits well.

go outside in good light and take a picture with a real camera. even if you're wearing awesome stuff that fits great, if the picture quality is bad, its not going to look good.

I can't see much from that photo, but you look better than most normal people walking down the street.

as for the jacket, it does look too big. too long, arms look too baggy, and the shoulders actually look a bit wide, in my opinion. as for the waist, you can get the waist narrowed on jackets. nearly everything can be altered, except for the shoulders, as far as I know. whether its worth it or not to spend all the money it would cost to alter it is another matter.

pants look a bit baggy from the knee down, if you look at the runway pictures you attached, all the models are wearing jeans that are narrower and cleaner looking from the knee down. not skinny jeans, just slim tapered jeans.
