I've always had blonde hair but lately the front has become extremely blonde. People comment on it constantly asking if it's natural, do I dye it. Just last week alone some girl came up to me at a bar and almost angrily announced "That's not your real hair colour!" So ironically I want to colour my hair so people will stop asking me if I do. I have short hair so the idea of going to a salon once every couple weeks isn't practical. I only want to go a shade or two darker. I know L'Oreal has a simple mousse type product but I'm wondering if it will work for short hair? Anyone have any experience or suggestions?

This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it. It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality. If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...

I just picked this up and I am pretty pleased. Just what I expected. I am pleased with the Bark. However, I wish it was a little darker. A great deal for $35. Comparable to other belts in the...

Colouring Hair -- lighter to darker

Get some just for men Beard formula, as it comes with a brush. Get light blond color, it'll still be darker than what you have. Don't cover your hair completely, just add some darker blond streaks with the brush. If you don't like it it'll wash out after 7 or 8 shampoos. Don't go overboard in the beginning. Just add streaks, see how it looks and move on from there.

This sounds worth trying. Appreciate the response.
As for the salon, it just wouldn't be worth it. I get a haircut about every three weeks so it's just not practical. I'm looking for a quick and reliable home solution. Nothing drastic, just slightly darker.

Isn't it just great if girls come up to you with that? I regularly went out to nightclubs/bars with a tie that was tied up totally wrong... women came up to me to fix it... Only the ones do that want to connect with you.
I don't have experience with mousse products though. And how long it lasts...
