Nah, I was mostly referring to what one's activities can reach - I didn't buy my modern Sub only for sports, but it was very assuring to know that I did not have to be overly careful with it, especially in the dreaded water...

It's simply a policy of not selling/servicing showpieces but working watches - after all, a gloss dial with WG/Lumi indexes vastly improves the usability of the watch in the real world.
