I might try to skip out of work early and swing by tonight to check it out. Overall it looks fantastic and will no doubt blow my grocery budget every so often.
Preview shots from the soft opening and some extra details (did anybody go during the soft opening nights?)

I'm curious about their wine store too, hopefully it's fare more comprehensive and price friendly than IWM.
Is anybody else planning on check it out sometime?

Eataly is still a bustling building site but on the 5,000 square metres at street level you can make out the fish store, the fresh pasta department, made by hand as the customer watches, the chocolate section complete with waterfall, and the cake and pastry shop, with Luca Montorsino in charge. Everywhere there are shelves of top-quality products and placards explaining how Piedmontese cattle are bred in Montana, or the importance of bronze wire-drawing for pasta.I'm curious about their wine store too, hopefully it's fare more comprehensive and price friendly than IWM.
