U.S. Soccer announced late Monday it had agreed to a four-year contract extension with Bradley, whose current deal expires in December. Bradley is 38-20-8 over the last four years, including a victory over then-No. 1 Spain at last year's Confederations Cup. The Americans reached the second round at the World Cup in South Africa before losing to Ghana.
Wonder what people think about this. I halfway feel like he made some great tactical decisions during the Cup, making some in-game decisions that proved prescient.
But I also think he made a number of terrible lineup blunders that necessitated the halftime switches. And it's hard to get behind a coach that oversees the kind of defensive confusion that's been evident for a few years now.
I like the Klinsmann idea, but let's face it, nobody has a clue how that would have turned out.
Overall, I have to say I think that more of the same is not what is needed right now.
