My team has seriously underachieved so far. Benson and Turner have blown ass, AJ has been absent two weeks, Reggie Bush is done for a while, Steve Smith (NYG) has had one good game, and BJAX was not worth the add. I already have a waiver request for Lynch, hopefully he can turn my season around.

about halfway through the regular season.

how is everyones team holding up. after tonight's game (the game tonight has no bearing on me winning or losing), i'll be 6-0 in one league and 3-3 in another.

my 6-0 is a beast right now.

I've got Heath Miller, Marshawn Lynch, Santonio Holmes, Matt Ryan on my bench. thinking about packaging bradshaw or addai with maybe Ward for Ray Rice.

Well done, and you could probably slide Lynch into your flex spot with Addai out. Nicks and Bradshaw really make your team -- they were your 4th- and 5th-round picks, I'm guessing? My 4th and 5th rounders were Beanie Wells and Jerome Harrison. Yup, I'm in last place.

Weird. Those were also my 4th and 5th round picks. Oh and I managed to surround that with Knowhon Moreno in the 3rd and Vincent Jackson in the 6th. Yeah, I'm 2-4.

Man, what a c-tease those Jackson-to-Pats rumors must've been for you.

Brady kills me every year. I go into every draft planning to load up on my RB or WR slots in Rounds 1-4 and then grab someone like Rivers or Romo in Round 5, but Brady's always there on the swing in Round 3, and I can never pass on him -- I was the same way with Jake Peavy in baseball for a few years.

I play with the same 11 guys every year and although it's random every year, I always draft between 10 and 12 every damn year. So I've kind of always loaded up on WR and hoped for a couple mid round RB's to pan out. No matter what my RB's never pan out. I usually get QB late, but after drafting Moss in the first I grabbed Brees in the second (6 pts per TD passing). Then tried the RB thing which hasn't panned out and took the flyer on Jackson. Watching all the Jackson trade talks has really sucked and I now hate AJ Smith for not dealing him. Seeing Randy Moss get traded to Minny hasn't done me much good either as I also have Shiancoe (No Show) as my TE. Basically every week I pray that Brees, Randy Moss, and Santana Moss go off and everyone else just gets a cheap td or somehow puts together a decent game. Hasn't worked at all yet.

BTW, Moss is to me as Brady is to you. Every year since I draft around #11, Moss is there for the taking and I never really care for the RB's left. Last year I grabbed him and Andre Johnson as I had the 12th pick and got Favre as my Qb in the 10th. Even with that base, I couldn't do shit as my RB's were God awful (I drafted Lynch and Ward as starters...the ultimate underachievers last year).

Yeah, my league is 4 points per pass TD. You made the right move going with an elite QB early.

man, i suck ass at picking defensive matchups. this week i started ATL vs. the Bungles

Well I started NO. I'm still winning though. Lucky me.

Also, I spaced and forgot there was a college game on Thurs, so instead of starting OR def (27pts) I started my bye week replacement from last week PUR (10pts). I won by 1 point or I'd be super pissed.

My waiver wire pick up of Dan Carpenter is paying big BIG dividends this week.
My waiver wire pickup of Jon Kitna (Flacco's bye week fill in) is not.

Kitna did put up 14 pts in my format, though...which penalizes interceptions. so it's not a total loss and not too shabby for a bye week fill in. to continue my streak of shitty defensive matchups, i started the Cowboys DST i now will have nothing to do with any Cowboys for the rest of this season. should have learned this lesson earlier

He finished strong. When I typed that he had 5 points. 300 something yards and 4 INT. Glad he got a garbage time TD. 14.36 points. My kicker had 19 points. Woot. My opponent has Tampa's D. REALLY? 2DTD?

Started Beanie Wells and Knowshon Moreno. Benjarvus Green-Ellis and LaGarette Blount are on my bench.
