The spread for full-size trucks, new, can go from the low 20Ks to nearly 60K, especially for heavy-duty chassis and dual rear drive wheels and 4WD and high-output diesel engines.
Are you planning to use this truck for commuting? Will it be a work or largely personal vehicle? Do you really need a pickup truck (do you own and maintain large property, tow trailers, need to carry odd/large cargo, etc?) Would a van suit your needs better, or a hybrid-type panel truck, like the Ford Transit?
Would you consider a used truck?
Truck will be for hauling, camping, shitty winter days, maybe plowing my driveway... def. dont want a van or hybrid. Just something with decent power, AWD, medium bed. I would def. consider buying used, preferably 07+

You are right, in that $75K for a Cayman is ludicrous. Switch it up and get a new daily driver, and buy a CPO sports car with a 100K/6yr warranty at 60% of sticker. Shit, take a gamble and buy a gently used Cayman S for $30K, Porsches are pretty reliable and it's a simple car.
The truck is not going to be my "nice" car, in fact I have never owned a car nicer than a civic and I can finally afford to do so. With the car I am more concerned with buying exactly what I want, regardless of resale value. I am not opposed to buying a 2010 model of one of the cars I am considering (except the 335 which I may hold out for the new model base) but it is hard to find ones with the color/option combo(s) I like. The truck is more of an after thought, for when I dont want to shit up my car. I have never owned a truck and I am always having to borrow a friends for random shit.
