After a while, I tuned into their conversation and it turned out that the young one had recently got out of prison and was telling the older one about his time inside.

It was all pretty hair-raising, but the worst bit was hearing about how another inmate had anally raped the young guy, and that he had sticky-taped a picture of Madonna to his back whilst doing so.

After hearing that, I decided that I never, ever wanted to go to prison.

I know it's awful, I really do, but I laughed when I read that. I'm not even sure why.

Anyway, I've posted this before, but here it is again: http://www.prisontalk.com/forums/sho...=146122&page=5

There was an episode of Lockup where this one guy became a girl and talked like a girl and did his boyfriend's laundry that had me completely open jawed. Then there was the episode with women in a local holding cell who were there for a week and talking about how they loved their boyfriends and in week 2 were complete lesbians. Evidently prison makes you homosexual by week 2 so make sure you get bailed out by week 1 if you have a wife.

One guy wraped a t-shirt around the kid's neck and lifted him off the ground from behind, and the other starts stabbing his gut. After a few stabs, he starts trying to get his fingers inside and he just pulls all this meat out. I thought he was going to pull out his intestines like you'd see in a horror movie, but instead, he just pulls out fist after fist of this yellow jelly shit, and then big hunks of meat like raw mince.

I think these sentences were the foul core of this disgusting post.

It is even better once you start getting the lingo down and you understand some of the things they're talking about.

If you fallow the link he says it was level 5, I guess thats Max. I've never been myself but I know plenty of guys who did 10+ years, have a cousin getting out in acouple of months after doing 10.

Years ago I went to visit my best friend from high school who was in for a drug-related conviction. He was in dental school well on his way to becoming a dentist when he messed up, and got caught. Unfortunately I never got to see him because I wasn't on his visitors list, but I also was kind of glad. That was one scary place.

He was really a smart dude, and a good friend in high school. I understand he's out and now waiting tables back in my hometown.

Visited a prison for a psychology of criminal behavior class in college. Two main things I remember:

1. Getting a stamp on the back of my hand on the way in that only showed up under UV light, being told that if I didn't have that stamp on my way out I wasn't going anywhere, and spending the rest of the visit making sure I didn't touch the back of that hand and somehow rub that thing off.

2. The professor telling all the girls in class not to wear anything even slightly revealing on the trip. When we got there, it didn't seem to matter much what they were wearing (and the guys got about as many comments as the girls).

Oh, and the room where they have new inmates squat and cough - supposedly if you're smuggling something up your ass it's tough to keep it in there when doing so. Who knew?

I can write him, but if he writes me back, he can't request anything. I basically, can't bring him anything whatsoever. There's basically nothing I can do but write to him. What really pisses me off and astounds me is that visiting is limited to family only. That's horrible, some of us have awful family and might need our friends. ~ H

consider doing a worldwide tour.

Did I use the word only? And that doesn't take away my point.

Prison is not for wusses, and is governed by the animal law of survival. The cardinal rule is the same as outside: use your brain, do not owe anyone any favors, do not trust anyone, stay out of gangs...do those, and you'll probably be alright. That's of course, you catch a bad break and get shanked/killed at random...which unfortunately happens from time to time
