I have bought two pairs of 2923s from sellers that claim their Persols are 100% authentic (one of them through a 3rd party seller @ Amazon.com for what it's worth). Both pairs have some scratching and scuffing on the metal hinge(the actual hardware) on the interior. Is this normal with Persols?
Also the edge of the plastic stem of the glasses that meets with the frame itself is not flush. There is about a 1mm gap the tapers upwards to the hinge. Is that also normal?
The 2923's are pretty hard to find at the sunglass huts in my area so I haven't been able to compare, but both pair of glasses I've ordered feel/look off compared to my limited handling of Persols that I know to be authentic.
If anyone has a pair of 2923s and can upload a photo of the interior hinge that would be swell.
