How conditioned is your body right now? Do you have lifting experience in the past?
I train only body weight now and find this more beneficial than hitting the gym.
I have trained with just DBs and a swiss ball before. Made pretty good progress. You will need at least 40kg in weights though.
I would suggest the following:
Upper
- DB Bench
- DB Incline Bench
- Standing Shoulder Presses
- Bent over single arm rows
- Curls
- Lateral Raises
Legs
- king dead lifts
- Single leg stiff dead lifts
- Squat jumps
- Lunges
- Step ups
- Core work
Body weight
- Pull-ups
- Dips
- Push ups
- Squats
- Jumping split squats
Weighted twice per week and body routine once per week.
Pick and choose so you do no more than three types of exercises for 12 reps each.
For body weight, do as much as you can with low rest period in between sets
If pull ups become too easy, you can play with rests and tempo in between reps. Once you master these, go to the gym and show the big0guys how to work a pull-up bar.
