Your favorite place in Hong Kong - Page 3

The nunnery is great - great view and juxtaposition of the site's buildings with the towers and such from the rest of HK.

Also a fan of walking along the harborfront (TST side) at night, then skipping over to the island and exploring a bit more. The buildings are beautiful and stuff like the HSBC building, you really don't see anywhere else.

In terms of restaurants, I had a fantastic meal at Hutong when I was there last. Great seafood up in the Sai Kung area, as well... in addition to nice hiking and general outdoorsy stuff.

Can someone tell what is the HK taxi driver doing with all these phones. I boarded this taxi and the guy was continuously fiddling with them and /or talking into them. I have never figured out what was going on

That is a lot, however this (multiple mobiles affixed to dashboard) is common in East Asia. One is used for the credit card terminal, one personal most likely, one from the firm.

dude has a Momo racing wheel as well. I'd promptly get out of any Toyota Crown taxi with a Momo steerwing wheel, and 15 cell phones. edit: plus a Valentine 1? I bet that guy says 'welcome' or something else creepy, before he jeopardizes your life.

+1 For whatever reason I like the Kowloon side better than the Island.

Not the biggest fan of LKF

Macau is interesting as long as you stay away from the casinos.

Alter: Honestly, what is there in Macao except casinos?

Not much, it's true, but I liked the atmosphere of the older parts of the city...the architecture is quite different from HK and the food was good.
