Bought my first few items of "streetwear" - Page 2

Thread Starter
Well, I went ahead and showed my wife the more "controversial" items I purchased; two pairs of embroidered pants (Roca Wear jeans, and white Pepe's). I asked if she thought they looked fun and different, or stupid and inappropriate. She immediately said the latter, which (in conjunction with some of the perspective from this thread) is obviously good enough for me.

They go back today

One thing a 49-year-old suburban male can never get away with.... Rocawear. Thank God you're returning it.

I HIGHLY HIGHLY reccomend you go see the what are you wearing today thread in here and other places like superfuture to see how the clothes look on body-types! I also highly reccomend you research and wait a little bit before buying something. Check out THESARTORIALIST.BLOGSPOT.COM and you will see alot of street/casual styles that are great. Even if it's casual, I highly advise you to think carefully about the fit of these items. You don't have to go buy name-brands as loud as pepe and such... Thrift stores will also be great place for shopping (avoid Macy's), if you check out cheapmothafkr he has alot of clothing that looks excellent on him yet he bought most of them through thrift-stores.
