Blue one looks like it would be perfect as an overshirt for me.

It is thick, weight is more like a jacket really. Also very windproof. Toasty warm, looks & feels great. For me dropping this kind of cash on a "flannel shirt" is a bit extreme, but as soon as I put it on at Self Edge I had to have it.

I hate flannels. I would much rather wear Oxford or something similar. I guess I enjoy the summer months the best.

Normal LL Bean flannels seem to be pretty reasonable prices.

Can anyone comment on the fit and the quality?

I'm also thinking about looking for some flannels while thrifting. A bit of searching has told me that some good brands to look out for are

Filson
Pendleton
Woolrich

Anything else?

Has anyone tried out any of the new Naked and Famous flannel shirts? Comments on quality? I quite like the look of this one:

I'm looking for a thick and slim fit flannel, and with the 30% off at Tobi until the 30th I'm kind of tempted. Dry clean only is kind of a drag though...
