A buddy and I have been tasked with planning a get-together to see off my roommate who is leaving NYC, but we're having some difficulty coming up with a suitable bar.
We are all mid to late 20's so looking for somewhere casual (not too dive-ish, not too upscale) where a group of our friends can meet up on a weekend night that won't be super noisy/packed. Ideally somewhere a group of say 10-25 can meet up and reasonably converse and not have to wait too long to get drinks at the bar. Doesn't need to have a private room necessarily, just some kind of space/corner we can commandeer.
Curious if anyone here might be able to recommend such a venue. Thanks!
