Need to Book a Boxing Ring in NYC for a Half-Hour? - Page 2

I'm guessing it'll be a 2 minutes of walking around, 45 seconds of "fighting", then 3 minutes of grappling(hugging)/finding balance (catching their breath)/throwing in the towel (first one to have a heart attack loses)

Seriously sounds fun though. Keep people updated, and you'll probably have to rent equipment and do it somewhere else. (Basement, conference room etc). Hopefully near medical facilities.

Really won't be that hardcore - a couple of middle-aged Wall Street professionals banging away at one another for less than 10 min.

So, any suggestions?

10 minutes? They'll never last 10 minutes unless they're pretty well trained. Geez, I know semi-pro fighters who gas in under 10 minutes. That's a long, long, time, when you are in a ring.

Yeah, 10 is no joke. I can do 16 min solid on a heavy bag (4 x 4min, 30 sec rest), but I get winded 4 x 2min, 1 min rest sparring. Evasive movement and taking a few body hits will wear your shit down. Then again, if both "fighters" suck as$, it won't matter anyway.
