ES Hutch - fit. - Page 2

Earnest Sewn is very inconsistent with their washes. I've seen pairs in the same store with distinctly different levels of distressing, and the only difference was the size. It's intentional, so if you don't like it, you probably should be looking at a different brand.

From my experience with earnest sewns the sizing runs pretty inconsistant. I have a hutch 10 size 31, and it fits like a 30. I bought a pair of 30 on ebay it fit like a 32.5 and I sold it on the buying and selling forum. I wouln't classify hutch as slim, more like a loose slim, compared to my apc, and pbj 005. My hutch looks closer to the second one but is a bit looser overall below the waist.

You would agree though that it looks quite slim in the yoox photos?

I have some ES Jakimos that are 32 but fit like a 33. I wasn't too happy about it, but I got them for $70 from Sierra Trading Post and they didn't have 31s. I mean, they still look great, but yeah you definitely want to size down with ES>

how it fits depends on how big your legs are

I brought my Hutches just last week in a size 30 and they feel more like 29, which is my regular waist. It seems that the way that these jeans are made, differs from size to size. Does any one else agree with me on this, or is it just me?
