By rigid they mean the jeans will feel like paper. You'll KNOW when you feel them. I've noticed at Macy's they put up the STF signs regardless of whether or not they actually carry them. Pretty frustrating, as my one pair of STFs fit awesome and I'd like to get another pair in brown or black.
