what do people think of double button collars? - Page 2

I find them to be a bit of work honestly but I can see the advantage if you have a longer neck.

I have several, at the suggestion of Patrick Chu of WW Chan. I have a long neck and wanted a higher collar, but he advised me the only way to reasonably go any higher was with a double-button collar. Since I always wear them with a tie, I'm the only one who knows. Because of this I don't consider them especially trendy or fashionable, just a way to wear a higher collar and a royal pain in the arse to get buttoned.

I have a couple, and when I first saw them I thought them quite refined looking, if not certainly different from the normal shirt.

Now that I've had to wear them, it is, as many have already mentioned, a pain to button. Perhaps I just don't have the length in the neck to wear them in the first place?!?

i plan to avoid them because they're becoming quite common on mass-produced junk that attempts to masquerade as something more refined. I think they're usually unnecessary.
