Bobby "Blue" Bland

My new favorite blues singer. Bland was never a guitarist who sang or a harpist who sang...he just sang. And still does! Check out his killer performance of "The Thrill is Gone" w/BB King in the 70s. And, of course, his signature song: "Stormy Monday," which I'm sure even T-Bone Walker would admit is the best version out there.

I've been listening to this guy forever. He's got the best name too. I honestly started listening to him after hearing his name in a Busta Rhymes lyric back in '95.
