More Americans think Obama is a Muslim

It appears that more Americans than previously thought so now think that President Obama is a Muslim. Nearly 1 in 5 Americans think so and only 34% identify him as a Christian. Story here based on a Pew research study. Just 43% of blacks identify Obama as a Christian. I wonder what the Rev. Wright thinks? After 20 years of sitting in Rev. Wrights Black Liberation theology church, Obama heard nothing and people think he,s a Muslim. Tsk, Tsk

Using that as the metric, the majority of Dems are idiots, per this poll.

Two of the three things quoted, are what "percent" of the surveyed folks identify him as Xtian. You reference "percent." The article states less that 50% of Dems identify him as Xtian. It would be logical to conclude your snark was based on the two data points of what "percent" of surveyed folks identify him as Xtian, not the ratio quoted of the portion that identify him as Muslim. FWIW, the better retort, would have been to mention the majority of Repubs are therefore idiots. I would not have argued there.

He hasn,t governed as a Christian or as a Muslim.

I mean in the sense that GWB was unabashedly Christian.

I just don,t agree with most of the left-radical stuff he advocates.

If BO was a Centrist, I wouldn,t care if he were a Zoroastrian!

BTW I,ve been to Kirbyjon Caldwell,s Church a few times here in Houston and he,s much more main stream Christian than Rev. Wright.

Caldwell quote

White House officials did not provide on-the-record comments on the survey, but they prompted Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell of Houston to call The Associated Press.

Caldwell, who said he has known Obama for years, said the president is a Christian who prays every day. He said he was not sure where the public confusion about the president's religion came from, but he called false media reports about it "a 24-hour noise box committed to presenting the president in a false light."

I wonder how Caldwell knows that Obama prays every day? Ever since the brouhaha over Rev. Wright, not much has been made about the Obama,s Church affiliation and attendance. Other than wrong opinions by intelligent Americans like those in the Pew survey.

Like continuing the wars overseas, bailing out corporations that are failing, and continuing the war on drugs? Yeah, that 'Bama is completely different from Bush.

No doubt there are more choices in the world...however, not in the survey. Sorry you were unable to clearly articulate the insult you wanted to give. Also, I, for two, am neither. However, we're dealing with the survey, which is not about our views on religion. Oh, if you're snagging my quote about Repubs for some reason, you should really run some searches on my user name. I slam Repubs, Xtians...basically, all the people you dislike, on a pretty regular basis. Unlike you, I don't wear blinders.
