I'm currently wearing my Z Zegna suit, and I can confirm that it's fused. Specifically, upon doing the pinch test above the chest pocket, the outer wool layer sticks to the canvas and does not come off without a bit of a peeling sound, like taking masking tape off of a surface. IIRC the "City" model is drop 7 and the "Drop 8" model is...I forget. I'm wearing a 48R City model.

Still love the colour and the cut though.

The Strellson Rick James line, which is fused, fits nice and slim. I have 2 of them. They run $600-$800+ CDN new.

Ozwald Boatend suit is canvassed, I bought a purple/eggplant wool/silk suit. Bought it from Selfridges when they were still buying Ozwald's line in 2008.

Now that you mentioned, I have always been wondering if there is any definite evidence to show that Dolce & Gabbana black label (white letters on black background) and white label (black letters on white background) has a difference? They seem to be the same price at the stores at my place..
