Real Men Loofahs

Thread Starter
It hasn't been brought to my attention until now that I'm going to dorm and constantly be around other people when I shower. I don't know whether it's viewed as manly or not to use one. But i am sure as hell using one because it sure beats using a bar of soap. So all I need is for someone to point me towards the right direction for the manliest loofah.

Whatever you do, don't buy one of those AXE monstrosities.

Someone help me out with the name here.

There is this Turkish thing that's like a mitt made of horse hair. I had one that I loved but I cant think of the name to Google it. It started with a K.

The axe detailer is actually pretty good. Half loofah and half wash cloth. I use it and it works

Make sure you buy at least the 8" or the other college gentlemen will laugh at your inadequate loofah. No one wants to be known as the guy with the 3" loofah.

I have blue ones, they are fine.

If you're in a dorm, there should be many real men available.

Scrub away!

I bought an axe one and it's TERRIBLE. like really hard/stiff that it scratches, the mesh is too loosely woven, and it's hard to hold. Expensive and terrible. If you want to use one but keep it manly, just stick with plain white and relatively small.

Make sure you get one with a string... http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=...1t:429,r:9,s:0

I unfortunately bought an Axe body wash once, but it came with a contraption that sticks to the wall and has a hanger for your loofa. As for the loofa I use, its all natural, baby! The plastic variety isn't rough enough for me. If I'm going to exfoliate, I want to be like Ethan Hawke in Gattica: on the beach scrubbing with a stone.

Whoa, I thought I was the only one who remembered that scene like that. Every time I exfoliate in the shower (probably once a week) that scene flashes through my head.
