New Comer. Levi Rigid Jeans??

I recently purchased a pair of Levi 514 Slim Straights. It's a nice clean dark look.

Theres a tag that says the jeans are rigid and that i should consider dry cleaning as home washing could shrink and cause colors to fade. It also says to follow the instructions on the jeans. The instructions say to wash cold and tumble dry medium and to wash/dry with similar colors.

So will these rigid jeans fade and transfer a lot? I plan on washing them weekly.

Why would you ever wash your jeans weekly? Or monthly?
