Because some of us don't have little girl feet or coordination problems.

These actually are great... if you actually are training to run in bare feet, which arguably does have all sorts of benefits. But you have to run, not just sit at your desk.

The minimalist running shoes have been around for years in various iterations. When I was running cross country in high school, Nike had a shoe that looked like a ninja slipper. None of these caught on, so I don't see the Five Fingers making much head way.

I hate those Skechers orthopedic shoes. They're purchased by the same people who eat McDonalds every day, are 50lbs over weight, and refuse to take the stairs up one floor versus the elevator.
