How to achieve this hairstyle? Long hair?

So im trying to get this hair style. It is kinda slick waxy looking. My hair currently looks similar to this: Do I need different product maybe? I have tried gatsby and now using Bumble Bumble SumoTech

Although I have no idea how long your hair is by looking at that pic, I suggest trying Murray's Superior. I just recently started using it too after this thread was posted. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get a slicked back look that really holds with this stuff.

Judging by the consistent waves in your hair and the immense straightness required for the other your hair texture is not suitable for the desired hairstyle.

Niether one is me! But what I mean is that the hair product top pic uses seems more waxy and strong hold that denses hair together hill bottom pic hair is more shiny and separated by product.
